Gold Leafing for Memorials

Genuine Gold Leaf on Granite

Gold leafing is a premium finishing process in which genuine gold leaf is applied to properly prepared areas of a granite memorial. It can highlight names, dates, inscriptions, emblems, religious symbols, and carved or sandblasted artwork.

The reflective gold creates strong contrast against granite and adds an elegant, traditional appearance. Gold leaf may be included on a new memorial or restored on an existing monument when the original gilding has worn.

Gold Leaf Services

  • Genuine 23-karat gold leaf application
  • Names, dates, inscriptions, and family lettering
  • Religious, military, and organizational emblems
  • Crosses, symbols, borders, and decorative artwork
  • Gold leaf on carved and sandblasted designs

Why Gold Leaf

Gold leaf creates excellent contrast and visibility, especially on darker granite. Its reflective surface draws attention to important names, dates, emblems, and design details while giving the memorial a distinguished, traditional finish.

Our Process

Each area is carefully cleaned and prepared before the adhesive size is applied. Genuine 23-karat gold leaf is then placed by hand, detailed, and inspected to create a clean finish designed for outdoor memorial use.
